IN PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITY

Committed and hardworking firefighters play a vital role in keeping our homes, business, and public places safe from the threat of deadly fires. The residents of your community are comforted knowing that you are nearby in case of an emergency. I salute you for your dedication to your profession and for your service to your fellow citizens. The brave men and women who are devoted to protecting lives and property truly exemplify the spirit of America.
- President of the United States George W. Bush
